About Dr Waheeda Mithani Dr. Mithani was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She graduated with a BS from Trinity University and completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. She completed her general surgery residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey. She is board certified in general surgery with a focus in bariatric (weight loss) surgery. In response to her patients growing needs, Dr Mithani has added medical aesthetics to her practice. Dr.
